At the Mildura Dental Group Cleanliness, Sterility and your continued good health are paramount and are of the utmost importance to us at all times.

So how do we achieve this?

• Needles come in sterile containers and are disposed after use. They are never re-used.
• Anaesthetic comes in sterile, single-use, glass ampules.
• All re-usable instruments, including drills, are sterilised in a hospital style steam steriliser. We have recently purchased the latest Class B autoclave.
• We wear a fresh pair of gloves and a mask for all procedures.
• To protect your eyes from glare and debris we give you dark tinted safety glasses to wear.
• Every time we check your teeth we also screen for oral cancer.
• We take a thorough medical history and update it at regular intervals.
• We usually do not use amalgam, which contains mercury. We tend to use natural, tooth-coloured fillings.
