Mildura Dental Group is committed to a positive dental experience.
Many of our clients come to us with stories about nerve-wracking and uncomfortable dental
experiences. They are apprehensive, nervous and sometimes downright scared! They tell us
‘they hate the dentist!', and sometimes the only reasons they schedule an appointment
is because they are in pain. Mildura Dental Group strives to change this
perception of the dental industry.
Our team offers outstanding care, in an effort to make every dental experience at our
practice PAINLESS and POSITIVE.
As our client you will leave each appointment comfortable, calm and relaxed. You will be
satisfied with your dental treatment and feel well cared for.
We have a broad range of techniques and facilities that we implement to ensure a positive,
comfortable dental experience.
- For each appointment Doug or Jamie will explain the scheduled treatment, guide you through the steps of each procedure and keep
you well informed. His is excellently equipped to answer any of your questions regarding
dentistry. Dr Harris will also guide you through what to expect after your treatment, and
offer support if you have any concerns.
- "Was that the injection?"
Dr Jamie Harris has some advanced equipment and a smooth technique that often draws the comment above. Many clients say Dr Harris's injections are the best they've ever had.
• The laser is so cool! Often we can get away without using the dreaded injections at all!
- Its pain free most times for most people so make sure you ask about it but remember it can’t be used for all cases at all times but where we can use it it is sensational. Usually all you hear is the gentle popping noise and occasionally a slight smell as the tooth crystals vaporise without any sensation to you
- Hypnovel is a short acting sedative which is injected intramuscular and creates a loss of time perception ie: 2 hours feels like 5 minutes. People respond normally albeit a bit more slowly and when unstimulated often drop off to sleep which frequently happens during dental procedures. A friend or family member will need to transport you home after your appointment. Please feel free to have a chat to Dr Harris regarding Hypnovel as not all people are eligible to use it.
