Tooth Coloured Restorations
Amalgam is 50% mercury and has a silver or black appearance. Bearing no resemblance to your natural tooth, amalgam fillings are highly visible when you laugh or smile. Nobody enjoys having a mouth full of metal! That is why Mildura Dental chooses not to use amalgam to restore your teeth. We prefer tooth-coloured restorations that blend in naturally. Many of clients now request that we remove their amalgam fillings and replace them with tooth-coloured restorations. Cosmetically, this is a fantastic way to enhance your smile!
